Emergency services worked together to help a man who was trapped in his car following a crash near Puddletown.
An ambulance was called after a van crashed on Waterston Lane in the village of Waterston near Puddletown.
When paramedics arrived, the van was on its side with the driver's side facing up.
The fire service was called, and two fire engines from Dorchester came to help stabilise the car so that the man could be rescued from the vehicle.
Police assisted with vehicle recovery to make the area safe while paramedics treated the man for minor injuries.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance for further care.
