A man is due in court today over the alleged theft of a car from outside a hospital in north Dorset.
At around 4pm on Wednesday, June 19, a Peugeot 206 with the registration LG56 CNY was stolen from the Westminster Memorial Hospital on Abbey Walk, Shaftesbury.
Yesterday, officers released a CCTV image of the car in the hope that witnesses will come forward. The car has not yet been found.
A 34-year-old local man has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court today.
Inspector Simon Perry, of North Dorset police, said: “We are yet to locate the vehicle and our investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
“I would ask anyone who has seen this vehicle or knows of its whereabouts to please contact Dorset Police.”
