A man has been charged in connection with two burglaries in North Dorset.
Yesterday, police officers launched an appeal for information and crime prevention advice following eight reported burglaries, which happened in the north of the county between Friday, June 14 and Monday, June 24.
A 30-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested and subsequently charged in connection with burglaries in Badger Walk, Shaftesbury, and Orchard Close in Stourpaine and appeared at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court today.
He is next to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, July 25.
A 42-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary with intent to steal has been released under investigation.
