Bridport Police has called on parents to report anti-social and criminal activity of children after two churches were vandalised.
Toys for young children and microphones were thrown around the church in Symondsbury on the weekend of June 8-9. The following weekend hymn books and Bibles were thrown on the floor and candles broken. Meanwhile someone urinated in the church in Shipton Gorge.
A police spokesman said: “I would like to ask people to be aware and keep an eye out for and report any activity like this, especially parents. You may be a parent of a child that has seen, or is aware of other children involved in something like this.”
