A female pedestrian suffered a head injury in a hit and run.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Thursday, June 27 outside the bus depot on Commercial Road in Weymouth.
A woman, who is aged in her 50s, was involved in a collision with a car, described as being possibly grey in colour, which failed to stop at the scene.
She was treated by the ambulance service for a head injury but didn’t need hospital treatment.
Police officers investigating the incident are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Police Constable Dan Campbell-Bell, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am appealing to any witnesses to contact us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the relevant time and has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to check their footage for anything relevant.”
