A person suffered minor injuries during crash involving a tractor and a car near Coldharbour, Chickerell. 


A police spokesman said the driver of a silver ford Fiesta was travelling from Chickerell towards Nottington when the crash happened.


The driver was taken to hospital but injuries are not said to be serious.


Police said the road was blocked following the incident, and officers remained on the scene until 6.35pm.


Earlier reports recorded that the incident happened on Radipole Lane in Weymouth.


Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service said a crew from Weymouth Fire Station was called at around 5.20pm. 


"Crew assisted with a casualty and made the scene safe", a spokesman for the fire service said. "The situation was under control by 5.58pm".
