TRAFFIC on a busy Dorset route was held up after a campervan lost one of its wheels.
A lane of the A31 in east Dorset was blocked yesterday with queues said to be building up.
The converted Ford Transit appeared to have damaged the road and has its offside rear wheel missing.
Police were called to the scene, near the Azalea roundabout at St Leonards on the westbound carriageway, at 9.35am.
A spokesman said one lane was blocked and recovery was arranged for the campervan.
A woman in her 50s from Warwickshire was 'shaken but unhurt', police said.
