A fisherman had to be rescued after falling at a beauty spot in Weymouth.
Weymouth RNLI Lifeboat was called just before 6am this morning to aid a fisherman who had fallen down at the base of White Nothe.
He suffered a suspected broken ankle.
A spokesman for Weymouth RNLI Lifeboat said: “The lifeboat was on scene at 6.27am and had the casualty on board by 6.35am with the help from coastguards who were also on the scene.
“The casualty was taken to Ringstead Beach to a waiting ambulance at 6.48am.
“The coastguard then released the lifeboat and they returned to station just after 7am where she was refuelled and made ready for the next shout.”
