A CCTV image has been released of a suspect after a woman was punched in the face in a Weymouth pub.
The assault took place on Thursday, June 20 at around 8.25pm in the Duke of Edinburgh pub on St Thomas Street.
A man pushed a member of staff at the pub, after which another woman - aged in her 20s - tried to intervene. The man punched her in the face twice.
The victim sustained swelling to her face.
Police have released a CCTV image of a suspect, and anyone who can identify him is urged to contact Dorset Police.
Police Sergeant Rich Barnett, of Weymouth police, said: "As part of my investigation I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect and I would ask anyone who recognises this man to please contact Dorset Police."
