Police stopped a car with completely bald tyres - to find that the driver also had no insurance or MOT.
The car, a BMW X5, was stopped in Shaftesbury earlier this week.
Photos shared by North Dorset police on social media show that the car's tyres had almost no tread. Officers are now urging drivers to make sure their vehicle is road worthy before setting off on their journey.
A spokesman for the team said: "Car seized, no insurance, bald tyres, no MOT.
"It is your responsibility to make sure your vehicle is road worthy."
