Dorset Highways maintenance gangs are out in force across Dorset repairing damage to the roads.

Due to the large equipment used and the nature of the repairs, the roads being worked on will be closed.

Daytime closures will last from 9am to 4pm while night work will typically take place from 7pm to 6am.

B3091 High Street, Shaftesbury, will be closed 24-hours-a-day from Monday July 22 until Friday August 2 for drainage work.

Blandford Bridge (West Street) will be using 2-way signals from Monday July 22 until Friday August 30 for repairs to the bridge.

The A350 will be closed from Steepleton Bends to Iwerne Minister during the daytime from Monday July 29 to Tuesday August 13.

Queens Avenue, Dorchester, will face daytime closures on Wednesday July 31 and Thursday August 1.

Monmouth Road and Barnes Way in Dorchester will be closed during the daytime on Thursday August 1 and Friday August 2.

St. Mary’s Gardens, Beaminster, will be closed in the daytime on Monday August 5.

The East Stour crossroads will be closed from Monday August 12 to Wednesday August 14 with a daytime closure on Scotchley Hill and three-way lights at the A30/B3092 crossroads.

Church Lane, Tarrant Rushton, will be closed during the daytime on Wednesday August 14 and Thursday August 15.

B3390 Affpuddle Heath will be closed in the daytime from Tuesday August 20 to Friday August 23.

Bats Lane, Martinstown, will be affected by daytime closures on Thursday August 29 and Friday August 30.

Motorists have been advised to allow extra time for journeys or to find alternative routes.
