Police seized drugs on Weymouth seafront yesterday on a busy day for officers.
They also had to deal with a street drinker for repeated breaches of a court order, tackle several incidents of anti-social behaviour and later arrested a woman for an alleged assault at Weymouth train station.
A spokesman said: "Officers from Weymouth Neighbourhood team had a busy day. We seized some drugs from a male on the esplanade. Dealt with a street drinker for numerous breaches of an order. Spoke to youths about ASB. Assisted BTP make sure some merry people got home safely on the dry train..... and just as we were about to go home, arrested a female for an assault at the railway station."
