Busy road to close for up to five days for urgent water main repairs
HIGH Street in Fortuneswell on Portland will be closed for up to five days next month.
The road closure is taking place to enable Wessex Water to carry out urgent work required to repair a leaking water main.
The road will be closed from 9pm on Saturday, August 3 for up to five days.
However, it is hoped the works can be completed by 6am on Monday, August 5.
Fortuneswell will become two-way traffic controlled under the management of two-way signals for the duration of the works.
