This picture shows a motorcycle embedded in the back of a car following a crash.
As reported at the time police were called at 3.43pm on Friday, July 12 to a report of a two vehicle collision involving a silver Ford Kuga and a motorcycle on the A35 Puddletown Bypass near Dorchester.
The ambulance service attended and the rider of the motorcycle was taken to Dorset County Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
The road was closed westbound to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. The vehicles were recovered and the road reopened at approximately 5.45pm.
