A FUNDRAISING music festival - Gimme Shelter - is being held at Bredy Farm in Burton Bradstock tomorrow.

The live music events have previously been held in Weymouth and raise money for homelessness charities. The next instalment of the event is a one-day festival, with overnight camping available.

The line-up includes Moriaty, The Surfin’ Birds, Jawbone & The Swine and Toxic Fish.

A shuttle bus from Weymouth will offer lifts from the former council office building on North Quay, on a first-come first-served basis. Pickup times are 10am and 12pm.

A fully stocked bar and all-day barbecue will be at the event, which runs from 12pm-12am.

Martin Saint, one of the festival organisers, said: “I’m very excited to have the opportunity to take Gimme Shelter to new heights.

“It’s the next step in our journey raising money and awareness of the current climate of homelessness in Dorset, and I am incredibly thankful to Charlie and Abi at Bredy Farm for hosting us, as well as everybody else who gives their time, effort and everything else to contribute to something very close to my heart.”
