Police were called to a crash involving a suspected stolen Land Rover.
Dorset Police were called at 8.06am to reports of a possible stolen Land Rover Defender which has been located off Sandford Orcas in Sherborne.
The vehicle was reported stolen from the Yeovil area.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Officers are liaising with Avon and Somerset Police who will be investigating and updating the vehicle’s owner.”
Police officers attended the scene and the vehicle was recoverred.
It will be taken for forensic examination.

It has been captioned: “The thief presumably did not anticipate that part of this hill was missing.”
