A fire extinguisher was stolen and sprayed down a town centre street.
Police have released a CCTV image of people they would like to speak to after the incident in South Street.
At around 2.40am on Sunday, July 28, the fire extinguisher was stolen from a tent used by Bridport Folk Festival in Bucky Doo Square.
It was released and left empty further down South Street.
Police Constable Brian Puttock, of Bridport Police, said: “CCTV enquiries have identified a number of people I would like to speak to in connection with this incident and I am issuing this image in the hope that someone may know who they are.
“I would ask the people in the image or anyone with information to please contact Dorset Police.”
