AN AWARD-winning holiday complex close to Thomas Hardy’s home is set to expand.
Up to 14 holiday cottages could be built at Greenwood Grange. Higher Bockhampton.
The planning application to Dorset Council also involves the demolition of an existing barn as well as a new reception building and changes to access and parking areas.
Most of the cottages will be built on the site of the existing barn and tennis courts with 33 new parking spaces created nearby.
A decision on the application is expected to be made at officer level with the planning application open for comment until September 17.
The site has been owned by Greenwood Grange Holidays Ltd since 2015.
