A REPORT of a kite boarder seeming to be in difficulty sparked an alert.
A coastguard team was called to Ferry Bridge to assist the kite boarder, whom was reported to be in difficulty by a member of the public.
The incident, which took place yesterday (August 20), saw the coastguard and the Weymouth Lifeboat ILB search for and find the boarder safe and well.
