A SPIN instructor whose husband was treated for bowel cancer at Bournemouth Hospital is running a charity spin cycle in aid of the hospital’s charity.

Mandy Payne will be hosting the Rock of Ages fundraising spin session at BH Live Active in Pelhams Park, Kinson on the Saturday 24th August at 11am.

She said: “I’m doing it to show the appreciation of the great support they gave my husband and me.

“The class will be 55 minutes with 55 years’ worth of music, from the sixties up until now. It will be a good hard session, but it will be a lot of fun too and hopefully we can raise some money for a good cause.

“People can come along and sign down for it on the day, they don’t have to be members at BH Live. However, they do have limited availability, so I do advice people to sign down for the class.”

Mr Lee’s Pure Food Co in Boscombe have donated a big box of noodles to those who attend the fundraiser as a reward for their hard work.

Mandy continues: “All we ask is that people donate, we will have buckets on the day so people can donate as little or as much as they want.

“I would like to say thank you to BH Live for allowing us the space and Mr Lee’s Pure Food Co for the prizes.”

Mandy and her husband Paul will also be trekking a section of The Great Wall of China later this year, from 4th to 13th October where they will also be raising money for the Bournemouth Hospital Charity. On their JustGiving page, the couple have already raised over £2,300.
