A MAN has been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order banning his from entering Weymouth town centre and several shops in the area.
Martin Brooks, 46, from Weymouth, was issued with the order at Weymouth Magistrates Court. It is in place for five years.
The shops he is banned from entering include the Londis stores on Westham Road and Abbotsbury Road, Morrisons on Dorchester Road, all Toymaster stores in the town and all Tesco stores in the town.
A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "We have recently been to court along with our colleagues from Dorset Councils Community Safety Team and obtained a further Criminal Behaviour Order. This has only been possible with the support of the public and businesses affected.
"Martin Brooks is now suffering the consequences of his anti-social behaviour. If others behave in a threatening, alarming or distressing way, we should work together to stop them and make a safer neighbourhood for ourselves and our children."
Anyone seeing Brooks breaking his order is asked to call police on 101.
