MOTORISTS experienced long delays on the A338 Wessex as emergency services deal with a van on its side.
Police and ambulance attended the northbound carriageway between the Springbourne roundabout and Cooper Dean roundabout to reports of an overturned white Vauxhall Luton van registered to a company from Birmingham.
A Dorset Police spokesperson: "We were called to a report at 1.54pm of a van on its side heading towards Cooper Dean from Bournemouth on the A338.
"Officers attended and are at the scene. Ambulance is also attending. Minor injuries were sustained."
Traffic queued back on the northbound carriageway almost all the way back to St Paul's roundabout.
The road was reopened shortly after 4pm following recovery.
