Two passengers on board a yacht were rescued after being pushed too far out to sea into rough water.
According to reports the yacht was on its way to Studland but had been pushed further out to sea because of the Navy firing south of Lulworth.
The yacht's crew struggled in the rough seas and both passengers became tired and sea sick, leaving them in need of rescuing.
The all weather lifeboat from Swanage was sent out to about two nautical miles south of St Alban's Head at about 4.30pm on Monday, September 2 to help the passengers.
Despite the rough conditions the lifeboat eventually managed to tow the yacht back to Swanage by about 7.30pm.
