The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning across Dorset.
Dorset, along with other parts of the south west, is expected to be hit be slow moving heavy showers and thunderstorms. The Met Office advises that this could cause travel disruption.
Other potential problems could include flooding to some homes and businesses, adverse driving conditions, delays to train services, and potentially some short term power losses and damage to buildings and structures from lightning strikes.
The warning is in place until 8pm this evening.
