Eight disabled parking bays in Weymouth and Portland are being withdrawn by Dorset Council.
The authority is currently advertising the proposed changes to come into effect on September 12th.
Said a spokesman: “ The disabled bays being removed in Weymouth and Portland are a result of the original applicants telling us the bay is no longer required. We have gathered these requests over the last year and are now processing them as a bulk withdrawal.”
The sites affected are – Portland; Castletown, Clarence Road, Grangecroft Road, Reforne and St Martin’s Road, Weymouth; Dundee Road, Penny Street and Salisbury Road.
Copies of the Order, together with a detailed plan of the sites, can be inspected at County Hall, Dorchester during office hours or online via www.dorsetcouncil/trafficregulationorders
