TV personality Julia Bradbury is heading to Dorset.

She will be attending annual Camping and Caravanning Club rally, also known this year as the 98th National Feast of Lanterns (NFOL).

It will take place this year at the Turnpike Showground near Shaftesbury from Thursday, September 19 to Monday, September 23.

Ms Bradbury, who is the club's president, and a past presenter of BBC One show Countryfile, will talk to guests about both camping and her work on television, as well as her time as the club's first female president.

This year's NFOL, which is a members' only event, will be hosted by the Camping and Caravanning Club’s South West Region and will have the theme ‘Down on The Farm’.

The NFOL also includes a Mardi Gras parade, and a ‘lighting-up’ evening when attendees decorate their tents, caravans and motorhomes with illuminated designs.

The September date for the event is a change from the usual, as it normally takes place at the end of August to coincide with the bank holiday.
