Firefighers were called to the scene this morning
Logs on fire in the open led to an emergency call out.
A fire crew from Weymouth was called to Radipole Lane, Chickerell to an area of ground and logs on fire in the open at 8.15am this morning.
Firefighters put out the fire with a hose reel jet, and will return to the scene later to make sure the fire is completely out.
