Gardens along the coast will be alive with colour when new illuminations are switched on tomorrow (Friday).
A major lighting scheme will be unveiled in Lyme Regis’ Langmoor and Lister Gardens at 8pm.
The public are being invited to watch the grand switch-on by the mayor of Lyme Regis, Cllr Brian Larcombe MBE, joined by councillors and council staff.
More than 60 coloured lights will illuminate the area around the woodland walk and the statue of Admiral Sir George Somers.
The best view of the lights will be from the flat roof above the amusement arcade and antique and craft centre, where the mayor will give a short speech and press the button.
The scheme, led by the town council, has been designed by Lymelight, the team behind the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.
