Police are hunting for the driver of a Citroen Berlingo following an attempted theft.
Dorset Police was called at 1.39pm yesterday to reports of an attempted theft of copper from an address near Cranborne.
The incident was reported by a passing member of the public.
Enquiries at the address were carried out and it was established that the offenders were disturbed and nothing was stolen.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "Officers believe a Citroen Berlingo may have been involved and enquiries are underway to identify the driver."
North and East Dorset Rural Police Team believe a blue Citroen Berlingo with the number plate ND**UZW.
