A MUM who has written a children’s book based on her experiences of raising twin boys with autism will hold a launch for it next month.

Jenny Ross, who lives in Southbourne, has written a book called My Amazing House of Autism.

The book launch will take place at Portfield School in Christchurch on October 10 between 6pm and 9pm.

Jenny is aiming to raise awareness of autism and also raise money for Autism Wessex, Diverse Abilities and The Sheiling School.

Jenny’s sons are now 18-years-old and are non-verbal and require two-to-one help when out in the community.

Jenny’s local MP Tobias Ellwood helped her sons get a place at school.

Speaking of her book, Jenny said: “It's from a sibling point of view, in a fun and colourful way on what it's like living in a house with autistic brothers. Please come and support me and help me raise as much money as possible.”
