A MAN who died after a collision with a train in Dorset has been named as Neil Francis Street.
Assistant Dorset Coroner Brendan Allen heard that Mr Street, 49, of Bennett Road, Charminster, Bournemouth, was pronounced dead at Palmerston crossing at Boscombe on the morning of Thursday September 5.
A Bournemouth inquest was told that emergency services were called to the railway line by a member of the public.
Coroner's officer Ken McEwan told the Bournemouth inquest that Mr Street, a technical customer care engineer, was carrying instructions as to how to get into his house and details of his next of kin.
The inquest heard Mr Street had been suffering from depression and that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
The inquest was adjourned until April 30 next year to allow for further inquiries to be carried out.
