Cyclist Matthew Watts is clocking up money for Children in Need.
The Dorchester taxi driver is swapping four wheels for two to carry out a sponsored cycle between the clock on the county town's Corn Exchange and the Jubilee Clock in Weymouth - and back.
Mr Watts, 29, of Plassey Close in Dorchester, said: "I thought I would start at Dorchester town clock and ride to Weymouth's and back.
"I used to cycle from Dorchester to Weymouth every day when I worked in Weymouth so I certainly know that road really well and I know all the hills."
He will be heading over the Ridgeway on his 16-mile ride on Saturday, November 10, and is making sure that everybody notices by wearing a bright yellow boiler suit and yellow trainers to look like the charity's mascot, Pudsey Bear.
