A FREE help session is being held to help residents of Dorset trace their family roots.
Weymouth Museum is organising the Climbing Your Family Tree day' which is aimed at helping people who are starting to track their family history or people who have got stuck in the process and want some advice.
There will be experts attending from the local history unit of Weymouth Museum, Dorset History Centre, Weymouth Library, the Keep Military Museum, and the Somerset and Dorset Family History Society.
They will be on hand to give advice on how to obtain various historic documents and also how the Internet can be used to assist this process.
The event will take place in the first floor resource room of the museum in Brewers Quay this Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
