Motorists faced delays after a crash between two vans which resulted in damage to a telegraph pole on a road in the Beaminster area.
Two fire engines from Bridport and Beaminster were called to the crash on the B3163 Whitcombe Road at just before 7.30am today.
The fire service reported no serious injuries but that damage had been caused to a telegraph pole.
The two vans involved where a white Volkswagen Transporter and a white Mercedes Sprinter.
Police reported that one of the vans was on its side and had collided with the telegraph pole.
The road was blocked so that the power company could assess the damage.
Delays are expected in this area.
