PINK garters were the choice for salon owner Lorraine Beckett and her staff at the Hair Studio in Easton on Portland who decided to show a leg on Wear It Pink Day.
Members of the public joined the salon's clients to enjoy free coffee, pink lady biscuits and cakes made by staff and friends and to buy raffle tickets.
Lorraine said: "We had a busy, happy day and we are very grateful to all who supported our effort which raised £142 for the Breast Cancer Awareness Charity."
And in Bridport, staff at Boots joined in the day-long fundraiser.
