These dramatic pictures show the extent of flooding in west Dorset.
More heavy rain is due to follow this week after floods in West Bay, with torrential downpours combined with a high spring tide caused some damage and led to walkways overflowing.
The River Brit burst its banks at high tide, also flooding the garden of popular restaurant Rise.
Lyme Regis took a similar beating with huge waves smashing against the Cobb Harbour because of strong winds and high tides.
We may see similar scenes later this week amidst weather warnings of heavy rain and wind for most of this week, with lowest temperatures of 14 degrees. Incident response staff are checking defences for the area but advise to stay vigilant and be careful as the weather continues.
