Road closed
Motorists are reminded to make note of a road closure this Sunday.
Newstead Road in Weymouth will be closed all day between the junction with Abbotsbury Road and the junction with Kellaway Terrace. This is to allow SGN to safely carry out work in the area.
The road closure notice is in force for five days, but Dorset Council says that the works are expected to be complete by the end of Sunday.
The recommended alternate route is Newstead Road - A354, Westwey Road - Abbotsbury Road.
