MOTORISTS were delayed by more "horrendous" traffic on the A55 following a crash involving a car and motorbike.
Drivers heading west experienced delays of about an hour on Friday, October 4 following the incident which caused a lane closure near Junction 24 heading West.
A motorist, who wishes to remain anonymous said: "Traffic was absolutely horrendous, it was chaos."
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 8.17 am to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle on the westbound carriageway of the A55 at Abergele.
"Both lanes were reopened at 9.09am."
The Welsh Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
