Guests enjoyed a tour of a successful and growing business development as part of Chickerell Civic Day.

Mayor and Mayoress of Chickerell Jeff and Mollie Mogg welcomed dignitaries from all over Dorset for the event which 'showcased' the area.

The day was hosted and organised by Chickerell Town Council, and it included a tour arranged by DJ Property of Link Park, Zone Fitness and the Granby Industrial Estate.

Invited guests, who included the High Sheriff of Dorset Phillip Warr and mayors and chairmen of various local councils, then enjoyed a hog roast lunch at the Willowbed Hall.

Members of the Chickerell voluntary community joined the civic group for lunch, whilst exhibiting the services and contribution they provide to the area.

Mickey Jones Chief Executive of DJ Property said: “DJ Property was only too delighted to participate in the Chickerell Town Council Civic Day.

"It was a pleasure to show all the attending dignitaries the benefits of our huge investment in Zone Fitness, Link Park and the wider Granby Estate.

"Given the predicted future growth of Chickerell, DJ Property will continue to invest in the area."

Mayor of Chickerell Jeff Mogg said “It was an honour to showcase Chickerell and all it has to offer to visiting mayors and chairmen from across the county and I appreciate DJ Property taking the time to host our Granby Industrial Estate and Link Park tour.

"My theme for the year is around our community and the lunch event was a great success in achieving awareness and opportunity for many important organisations.”
