A CRUISE ship carrying hundreds of passengers has arrived in Portland Port after sailing from Dublin.
The American cruise liner Seabourn Ovation arrived in Portland Port this morning, bringing 604 passengers into the area, where they can enjoy today's lovely weather before heading off to Spain and Portugal.
They are on a two week cruise to Lisbon which also stops in the Spanish towns of La Coruna and Vigo.
The cruise season is coming to an end, and there are just three more ships to arrive in Portland this year.
In total, 44 cruise ships will bring more than 62,000 passengers into Dorset by the end of October, bringing a fantastic tourism boost to the area's economy.
The next one to arrive will be the Rotterdam, operated by Holland America on Wednesday.
