A GHOULISHLY good time was had by ghosts, witches and wizards at a Hallowe'en-themed party by the sea.
Nearly 200 partygoers braved bats and spiders to show off their costumes in Weymouth's Greenhill Gardens.
The Pumpkin in the Park party was the third event to be hosted by the Friends of Greenhill Gardens (FOGG) in 2007.
Volunteers from the organisation laid on free party activities for youngsters such as splat the bat, pumpkin bowling and bat glove puppet-making.
Those of a stronger disposition entered the gardens' blackened-out shelter to hear a wizard tell ghost stories.
A trick or treat stall was run by the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust and organisers created a bat and ghost trail, with a prize going to all who completed them.
