A LARGE collection of Beswick Pottery is set for auction in north Dorset.
The sale is being handled by Sherborne's Charterhouse auctioneers.
Auctioneer Richard Bromell said: "We have been selling Beswick for many years during which time we have sold vast amounts of this popular pottery for large amounts of money.
"Often clients bring in a few pieces but this collection which has been amassed over a lifetime, is huge and one of the larger selections we have been instructed to sell."
The Beswick collection comes from a deceased estate in Darlington, North Yorkshire.
In the collection of hundreds of pieces of Beswick, there are horses, cattle, sheep, other farm animals, birds, dogs and other animals.
The sale is scheduled for October 17 and 18.
