More solar panels could be added to a site in Dorset
More solar panels could be added to an existing site at Bourne Farm, Piddlehinton.
The completed scheme could see 10,500 solar panels on the site – enough to generate 240kw of power. A decision on the application, made in the name of Farm Power Apollo Ltd, is expected to be made by a planning officer.
The field is immediately to the south west of Bourne Park and runs along the Old Sherborne Road.
Comments on the application can be submitted to Dorset Council until November 12.
