A MAN whose car was crushed by a trainee army vehicle driver walked away from the incident unscathed.
Police said that was 'amazing' the 42-year-old Blandford man suffered no injuries after his white Citroen was written off by the tracked army personnel carrier on a country road at Melbury Abbas on Tuesday morning.
The vehicle was travelling from Warminster and was running a driver training exercise.
Firefighters and police attended the scene and both drivers were treated for shock.
The road was closed at the junction with the B3801 while the vehicles were recovered.
