A ROAD will be closed as works are due to be carried out today.
Plaisters Lane through Sutton Poyntz is expected to be closed today from 9.30am until 3.30pm.
Dorset Council has issued a notice under Section 14[2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to inform residents that Plaisters Lane will be closed between the junction with Mission Hall Lane and the junction with Coombe Valley Road.
The road closure is to enable Wessex Water safe access to carry out two permanent reinstatements within the highway.
An alternative route will be signposted along Coombe Valley Road, Preston Road and Sutton Road.
