Portland Hospital
IN LAST Saturday’s Echo Jenny Barrett raised the issue of Bridport Community Hospital losing 20 beds.
This follows on from Portland Community Hospital losing all its bed and effectively being downgraded to a medical centre.
My father was a patient in both during the latter stages of his life and I cannot but help wonder which hospital will be next and where will those inevitably requiring admission for treatment and support will go in the future?
