An outline application for two homes in the garden of a house in Canberra Road, Weymouth has been approved by planners.
The consent, to the rear of No 36, will now need detailed consent to proceed.
It allows for two three-bed semi-detached homes with a new access off Darwin Close and allocates one car space for each property.
The application attracted no comments from local councillors or neighbours.
