Traffic on the A31 experienced some disruption this morning after a lorry broke down.
Travel Dorset reported at about 8am this morning that there was slow traffic on the A31 and that the eastbound carriageway was partially blocked due to a broken down lorry.
The incident was said to have happened between A350 Poole Road (Roundhouse Roundabout, Sturminster Marshall) and B3078 (Lake Gates Roundabout, Ashington).
All lanes have now been reopened and, although long delays persisted for a while between Lake Gates Roundabout and Roundhouse Roundabout, traffic eventually returned to normal.
Travel Dorset had reported westbound delays upwards of 30 minutes.
