WITH Halloween just a week away, there are plenty of spook-tacular events for adults in Bournemouth...

1. Join the undead of Southbourne to celebrate Shaken’ Fright Night organised by the team behind the Shake ‘n’ Stir festival, a vintage masked party at the Cliff House Hotel with live rock’n’roll and cocktails from 7.30pm. Dress up in your finest classic horror outfit for a night of vintage terror, with monster music from folk and Americana band Tweed in Bourbon. Tickets £25.

2. CinemaLive is partnering with Northern Ballet to broadcast its spectacular production of Dracula, Live into 300 cinemas across the UK including Dorset for one night only on October 31.This critically acclaimed production will broadcast the story of Bram Stoker’s vampire live from Leeds Playhouse. 3. Hocus Pocus, is a Halloween special themed event at Hilton Hotel Bournemouth for adults only on Saturday, October 26. The night begins with a two course meal, followed by a themed Halloween quiz with prizes and live entertainment. There will also be a DJ until 1am. Fancy dress is recommended. Doors open at 7pm.

4. The Zombie apocalypse arrives at The Dancing Jug in Bournemouth with a Shaun of the Dead Halloween Party from 8pm on Friday, October 25. Free entry. There will be a £50 bar tab for the best dressed male and female plus themed cocktails and drinks.

5. Spend Halloween Night at The Lost Paradise in Bournemouth on October 31 where DJ Tomsy will be waking the dead. There will also be themed cocktails and contests.

6. Flirt Cafe Bar Hosts The Most Scary Halloween Night on October 31 from 9pm. It’s the one occasion when your scary dance moves are actually acceptable! Entry is free however booking is strongly recommended.
