The saga of the North Quay council offices continues.
Much like Brexit, it goes on being played out and any decision delayed again and again costing the taxpayer a fortune to keep this eyesore standing.
Opinion is divided politically with the Green party and the Liberal Democrats opposing demolition favouring a re-use and the Conservatives backing demolition of this monstrosity of a building.
Opinion on the fate of the site is divided some want social housing, some want luxury flats for greater financial return and others a leisure type development.
But what is clear is that whatever happens to the site demolition is a must. Weymouth deserves better not an energy inefficient, asbestos ridden, concrete mess tarted up and re-used.
